What is the Ultrasound Business Academy and who is it for?

The Ultrasound Business Academy is our A to Z blueprint for starting, operating, and growing your direct to patient ultrasound business. Is this course structured or can I go at my own pace?

This entire Academy is go at your own pace. Why? Because we want you to take your time! Go through the content, absorb the material, implement. We have students that have binged everything and are out marketing in 30 days. We've had others that take a few months to really digest it all. It's absolutely up to you. The ONLY thing with a time frame is your 1:1 coaching...our UBA has 6 month coaching access to Jen,  Payton and the team through strategy sessions + our client messaging app. All course content, trainings, etc are lifetime access.

Do I have to show up anywhere at a specific time?

This is the beauty of this program - all of your trainings, downloads, worksheets, etc are all located in your login protected client dashboard portal. All of the training videos are between 10-30 minutes or so, allowing you to either binge watch like your favorite Netflix show, or hop into the portal and view a training in between patients or after putting the kids to bed. The only thing with a specific set time is your 1:1 strategy sessions with your business coach that are available multiple times during the month. You'll also have unlimited access to Jen and the team for 6 months over on our client message board for text + voice memos - it's basically an ultrasound business coaching team in your pocket!

Do I have One-on-One access to Jen?

Absolutely! The Ultrasound Business Academy program comes with lifetime access to the back end client portal with all of your trainings, downloads, contracts, etc and with that comes a 6 month coaching container directly with Jen + the Advanced Imaging Team. You will have access to 6, 1:1 strategy sessions with your business coach during your coaching container (diving into strategy for your individual business, questions, etc) . You also have access for any questions along the way during your 6 month coaching container in our client messaging app. Ask away - ANY questions you've got, big or small. Jen, Payton, and our Support Team check those messages on the daily + our goal is to respond within 1 business day, M-F.

How do I find interpreting physicians?

 If you're providing services that require interpretations and you have a local group that wants to read for you, great! If you don't, we have multiple Interpreting Physician Teleradiology + Telecardiology Groups on our Vendor List ready and waiting for you.

Do I have to quit my day job?

Absolutely NOT! In fact, we recommend our students keep their current positions until their new business can support them financially. There are multiple ways to do this - some students already have a day or more off during the week. Others may take more PRN positions to be able to have at least one day per week to work their biz. Others will change their working days - for example, doing 4, 10 hour days to have one day off per week to focus on building their business. Jen has a great podcast on this specifically!

What's the revenue potential of this business?

This is one of the most important questions to figure out when starting your own business. A good per patient average is about $125-$150 (note that yours may vary based on the services you provide). If we look at providing services to 8-10 patients a day at $125/patient that is $1,000 - $1,250/day. That plays out to be $20,000 - $25,000/month and $240,000 - $300,000 per year with one machine and one sonographer working 5 days a week.  Revenue potential in your own business is unlimited as you are in the driver's seat. You determine your goals, and how big you'd like to grow your business.

How long to I have access to the course content, contracts, downloads, etc?

The program materials are LIFETIME access, friends! What does this mean for you? It means you can take your time going through the material without a deadline. This also means you've got 24/7 access to everything that's waiting for you now and, and to anything that comes down the pike in the future! How does Enrollment work?

We keep the UBA as a small and exclusive container, as all clients are directly coached by Jen and Payton. We accept a very small number each cohort, and we only open enrollment 4 times a year in February, May, August, and November.
